I'm sure they're all managing to pay the rent and bring up a family working 40 hours for minimum wage, probably with enough money to save for two weeks in Spain too.
For the avoidance of doubt, I'm being sarcastic.

Really enjoyable discussion carried out with great good humour. Cripes but it was hot inside, next time best to open a couple of windows I reckon 😉.

This is Johnson talking about rejoining Erasmus. A programme he promised not to leave and then did so anyway. Slamming the door on opportunities for our young people. Now he talks of gunning down those who attempt to fix his ruinous mess. The man is an irredeemable wanker.

Nah, me neither Sir JC, me old Dad loved him roaring with laughter throughout, meanwhile at the other end of the sofa, I'd be sat, nonplussed.

I've never had the pleasure of meeting Mr Polanski, so I can't speak for him, however I don't imagine he'd contradict you if you did so 😉

Sorry mate, I should have been clearer.
Beer was introduced on an industrial scale by the authorities thereby weaning the lower classes off unregulated gin.
Hogarth's cartoon "Gin Lane" depicts the effects.

Exactly BG, everybody (poor) distilled the water. When beer was introduced it was declared the saviour of the underclass.
Hogarth produced a series of cartoons depicting same.

After seeing Mason Alexander Park's outstanding performance in The Tempest I was tempted to purchase tickets for this, however the comparison to "Hamilton" is the review to settle my indecision.
Thanks Lewis that's £300.00 saved.

A proud moment for me too.
I'm captured in the penultimate photo on the reel.
Left-hand front row aisle adjacent seat.
I'm the one wearing specs with a reflecting head 😆

Alcohol and cigarettes both pay 80% tax because of the harm they do.

Gambling should be the same.
