Just in case you want to know where the Israelites crossed the Sea of Reeds, here is a map of the Egyptian border region in northwest Sinai with the key biblical locations on it. The Yam Suph (Sea of Reeds) was the now drained Ballah Lakes system.

What a terrible photo! Surely you can do better than that?

What we need now is another Moses to lead us through the wilderness to a Promised Land free of Pharaoh Trumpadumpa and his slave masters.

Time for DR the musician/composer/producer/engineer/70's prog rocker ... and fan of classy music of all kinds.

What about the DR who was, apparently, the 'real Indiana Jones' – according to some rather over-exuberant newspapers and magazines in the 1990s. Still, it helped to sell a lot books, so I'm not really complaining.

Here is DR the explorer. Never believe completely in something until you have seen it for yourself. Explore the ruins of Troy. Smell the desert air and listen to the blood pumping through your veins. If there is a god, he/she resides in the utter silence that is the wilderness.

This horrible political crisis we are all going through got in the way of me saying hello properly and introducing myself. Time to correct that. So, here is the lecturing side in a couple of pictures. More stuff to follow.

Amazing what you can find in the Egyptian Desert. I came across this early (very early) promotional image of the Rolling Stones circa 3,500 BC. Keith Richards looks amazingly young and Bill Wyman seems to have stolen Paul McCartney's bass guitar.

Something to ponder. How many of you know the true story of the relic known as the Holy Grail – the cup Christ used at the Last Supper for the first eucharist?

Starting to feel at home here at Bluesky, in spite of the dark blue sky ahead. It's comforting to see I am not alone in these dark and depressing times. May the full moon light our way out of the darkness to a new dawn free of Trumpery and all its evil oilygarchal crows.

When your social media house that you have lived in for years is burned to the ground by saboteurs, you just have to pack what's left of your belief in humanity, abandon the ruins and move to a new home away from the destruction. That is why I find myself here in the rich, green forest of Bluesky.

This year my New Year's resolution is to complete the writing and publication of 'Legendary Kings' Volume Two, covering the era from King David in 1010 BC down to the sack of Jerusalem by Nebuchadnezzar in 587 BC, as it works out in the New Chronology. Wish me luck!

In a little over eight weeks from now I will be staying with a group of intrepid followers (the 'Shemsu Rohl') in the famous, and very ancient St Catherine's Monastery in Sinai. I am really looking forward to it as we trace the route of the Exodus from Goshen in Egypt, all through Sinai and Jordan.

I just decided (like so many) to leave the shit social media platform called Facebook, having been there for many years. it is just full of lies and rubbish these days and just a complete waste of time. I am hoping that my 10,000 Facebook friends will follow me here ... but who knows?
