Just finished this. Great stuff, turning an existing historical event into a nail-biting novel. An Australian author, too. I loved it right up until the epilogue, which I thought took it off in a mistaken direction (others will no doubt tell me it's the best part of the book!) #books #booksky

Just getting back into reading after a hiatus. I loved this book: “The Lost City of Z” by David Grann. He’s a writer of really interesting and thoroughly researched non-fiction articles and books.

Was there once an advanced civilisation in the Amazon? Heartily recommended.
