Maybe the link isn't the issue. Even if I just search for the site, the page still won't load. Very odd!!

Couldn't connect to the link though. Not sure why.

I spend solid hours listening to Roland Kayn. It's incredible that his music was relatively obscure for so long, and probably still is. You've got to commit, and it takes time. And, you have to try to understand his thinking a little. I often try to build "kaynesque" systems in Ableton. Lol :)

Enjoying the gradual shifts across the track. Fitting/shifting my mood well after just getting home from work and a somewhat tiresome commute! Really very lovely :)

A wonderful record! must be tricky to find things like this.

That looks very interesting!

Thank you. Most of the layers are constructed using Operator or Wavetable in Ableton, starting with a basic sine in Operator, for example, then on from there. Sometimes, I like to mangle short snippets I've recorded from shortwave radio into pads, it always has a somewhat more rougher feel then :)

This great! wonderfully evolving... what was the label?

Very much like those covers, indeed in keeping with the general aesthetic.

I'm about to add a couple of albums there as well. one drone, one a little gentler, and maybe something from the archives. Hope it does well for you!

Always important! And, definitely not something I've got :)

Indeed. There is a lot of it! Thanks for the info, I'll look out for that. I find his "cybernetic systems" thinking quite interesting at the moment, and I'm exploring integrating it in my own work.

Not sure who you could follow on here as I don't know that many people here yet! :) Here's a musical recommendation though if you like super long drone music - Roland Kayn. Sadly passed away, but wonderful, really very wonderful :) Try Tektra, or Simultran to start with. Enjoy!

There's a new boxset?

See you've got Tektra there. I've been listening to Roland Kayn's 10 CD Scanning "album" the past few days. Steadily moving my way through his entire, at least available, output... Wonderful :)
