How is it that my non-verbal 10 year old can do an absolutely perfect impersonation of Roly from Hey Duggee shouting at birds???

Beyond delighted to finally make contact with my strongest patrilineal dna match, a 2nd cousin after 3 years searching.

Bit bewildered that I found her through a really tangential connection to her husband!

Found a common link between half a dozen 9-10cm matches in the USA this week, and when I pushed back further I found two common ancestors around the 1400s. Hard to believe any meaningful SNPs stay intact for 20 generations, even with pedigree collapse 😬

Is it just me? Has anyone had success using 23&me for genealogy/DNA matching? Their health side is the best I’ve seen but the family tree, matches and research are awful.

Anyone else at a loss because Ancestry.com isn’t working? 😬
