I wanted to share with you the story of Piper and Prudence. They were rescued together from the streets of Chicago. They went into foster care as a bonded pair. In foster care, they were named Pepper (Piper) and Leia (Prudence). They were feral and had trouble adjusting. #catsofbluesky

I'm glad Pete Hegseth has pledged not to drink if he is confirmed as Defense Secretary. So, I guess he can still sexually harass women, mismanage funds, discriminate against women service members, push for a Christian Nationalist agenda, and be a virulent Islamaphobe?

My mom is a woman like no other. . She gave me life, nurtured me, taught me, dressed me, fought for me, held me, shouted at me, kissed me, but most importantly loved me unconditionally.
There are not enough words I can say to describe what a powerful influence she continues to be.
