November 14, 2025 at 8:51 PM

Taking profit? Of course. They do it with so many different aspects of life. It just needs to be perfected, intensified, and more extensive.

Definitely not there yet. However, people still look for comforting responses that feel they are not getting from human relationships. Some others engage in needy, toxic relationships as both sides look for comfort/company. Better to get a dog, or a cat, of course.

Until it's not an algorithmic response, as true AI is not an algorithm. It can/will read as well non-verbal communication.
For me the sad part is not all that, but the corporations that are going to take great advantage of people's loneliness for the sake of it instead of providing true solutions.
November 14, 2025 at 7:42 PM
That I guess is difficult to answer. I think as well about those friends who meet/talk to you about their lives only never asking about yours, nor paying attention. I can understand why someone can see AI as a valid companion support vs loneliness.
November 14, 2025 at 7:37 PM
Maybe haven't met people too condescending because their connection with you is relative. And those who meet with you only to talk about their life and ask nothing about yours?
What one expects/needs from the other side is many times unbalanced. I can see why some see AI as a support companion :/
November 14, 2025 at 7:34 PM
I agree, but how is that different for many people from a distant relationship in which they personally meet once or twice a year? :/
November 14, 2025 at 7:24 PM
Although I totally agree with that reasoning, how is that coded response different from that of a very condescending friend?
November 14, 2025 at 7:22 PM
Wait, I'll check it with my AI therapist.

You are right, that is up to women to say. Or it should be. I wish they could individually decide (which is the/my main point here since my first reply), so as trans w/m could.

That's assuming any man is definitely better than all women at whatever the sport, game, or skill. If otherwise you're trying to point at unbalance in opportunities to develop such skills, in and/or outside sports then...oh, wait.

Wouldn't it be easier to simply abandon the division of competitions per gender? Just a wild thought...
