I don’t understand how Trump’s 100% Foreign Film tariff will actually work, when most movies are released for “free” on streamers.

People buy the American Netflix Subscription, and then get unlimited content.

I understand increases on DVD sales and theatre goers, but… it’s 2025.

The thing I absolutely love about ‘Chef’ (wr/dir Jon Favreau) is that it exists in defiance of The Hero’s Journey, Save The Cat, and pretty much every conventional structure format.

Yet it’s still captivating for the entire 110 minutes.

I first saw #Shihad in 2002. Since then I have seen the band perform a total of 75 times.
They’re putting an end to a 37-year career in March.

It was a special moment on Friday to photograph Shihad’s singer, Jon Toogood on his solo tour. This man shaped my life.

I find #Photography and #Screenwriting to be similar, in that greatness is lightning in a bottle, but we should never stop aspiring for it.

We should accept that not everything is going to be perfect, but with practise the misfires become less common.

Cloudland Dance Hall was demolished in the middle of the night in 1982, as a power move from the Bjelke-Peterson government to put a stop to Youth Counter Culture.

A beautiful building destroyed by a conservative tyrant, driven by spite.
