He’s neither. He learned of the concept than started working on a patent. He has devoted a good chunk of his life and savings to it for at least five years (probably longer) so it is wild to see it become a reality

My concern with a shutdown is that there literally be no one to check the excesses of the Tramp admin. I worry they will use it as an excuse to do even worse things. It’s not like D leaders are doing anything now but at least we can hope they will wake up from their Vichy slumber

Sure Simons work is a bit dated but I also fear that many directors & actors today don’t know how to play comedy truthfully. Theyre scared to play it honestly & often “comment” on it then play it. It’s not just Simon. I saw a production of NOISES OFF in which the cast got no laughs in the 1st act.
