On a whim, I decided to have a go at growing #bonsai. I've begun by buying 5 x Oak seedlings from eBay. Got to start somewhere. Additionally, I've managed to buy a number of Wisteria seeds and beech tree seeds. Watch this space.

Brought the Christmas flowering hyacinths indoors.

Time for the annual cutting back of the #allotment #asparagus ferns. It's so much easier if you wait until they completely die back and go brown - then you can cut them down with hedge shears rather than secateurs.

This friendly little fellow follows me round as I dig my allotment. I thinks he's hoping I'll dig up a juicy worm or two.
