Britons narrowly voted for “Brexit” 10 years ago. They’re now unhappy with the results. The results have been mostly what Brexit opponents said would happen. Leading Brexit supporters have yet to say they were wrong.

In 2024, in *every* developed country, the ruling party lost vote share. That was a first. The American Electoral College system gives tiny vote margins huge significance. That was true for Joe Biden in 2020, as well as Trump in 2016 and 2024.
