Xmas lunch all prepared, cooked and eaten, washing up done as well, by 2:15 pm. Yes, I did forget the cranberry sauce until halfway through.

Reassuring to know that moral heavyweight “BJ” Clinton was just along for the ride and knew nothing about Epstein’s crimes, which is presumably why he cut him off before they came to light…

It’s just a regular Saturday morning. Cook bacon, eat bacon, drink tea, catch up on what’s happening in the world…and then Kingstonian’s joint manager follows you on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. I blame @andyc@mastodon.me.uk

This and the dead cat on Portobello beach story make me nostalgic for @jroberstson@a0.jamesrobertson.me.uk’s regular updates on criminal activities in Leith. Danger Level: High.

Beautiful sunshine and frost on the school run. Little kid was super excited to see the school field frozen over. I almost walked on by on the way back, but tried to channel his wonder. The front panel of this narrowboat was glistening with frost in the morning light.

I’d never heard of this guy before, and wish I hadn’t. Apparently he was deputy leader of the Green Party ten years ago. His illiberal rantings then forced his leader to quit, before he was given the boot. I don’t think he’s joined ... https://davidmarsden.info/2025/11/03/id-never-heard-of-this.html

Speaking of lunch. I’m kind of hoping the wife doesn’t want this fried halloumi, tomato and basil plate I offered her earlier. With a pitta and some hummus it will make a nice lunch tomorrow.
