Bigger companies are largely getting by unscathed (for now), but I don't know how long that will be true. And these companies should be called out for allowing, say, Gr*k to create AI deepfake porn (a clear policy violation and potentially criminal) while demonitizing tons of NSFW games on itch.

They aren't acting on legality. They're not making their regulations clear until they've already shut down accounts and denied payouts (and even then, it still isn't *really* clear). This is a form of censorship.

It doesn't, and shouldn't, matter if something is to your taste. If the kink is legal (which most of the things being targeted are, including some as mundane as LGBTQ+ folks just existing or girls with cat ears), I should be able to purchase it--to help an indie creator make their livelihood.
