Spent many hours last night explaining Superboy Prime and his whole arc to a friend and it was a precious reminder that I would go to the mat for him any day as the real best non-Luthor Superman villain.

The problem is that Grant Morrison and Dan Mora’s Batman/Deadpool is The Pitch unto itself, the goofiest possible first crossover in 20+ years to have executed by that caliber of talent. I’m sure Wells and Capullo will do great but the existence of an accompanying oneshot inherently dilutes the bit.

Spent years paying attention to any word on To Be Hero X, so five episodes in I’m glad it didn’t turn out to be extremely bad but is, instead, extremely good. Easily the most interesting cape material of the season besides - to the extent you even count it as capes - Absolute Martian Manhunter.
