The NYT editorial also neglects to mention that - even if neither Cuomo nor Mamdani win the primary - they will still both be on the ballot in the general. Instead, they frame a choice not to rank Cuomo or Mamdani in the primary as irresponsible.

The DOB has a nice, city-wide, interactive map of active shed permits: all 9,025 of them (2.1M feet) with an average age of 487 days.
