Like so many of you, I grew up reading Seuss books (and later, reading them to my kids). I loved reading rhyming books to my little ones, which is why it seems odd that I get people pushing back on them now. Are they passé?! Did I write an unpublishable book?

Hello, Bluesky. I have a question for #books #booksky folks. Are rhyming children's books out of fashion these days? I wrote and illustrated my latest and I've since gotten the "pfft, no one publishes RHYMING books anymore!" line... but I used to love reading them to my kids. Thoughts?
