Breaking: The Commanders and WR Terry McLaurin reached an agreement today on a three-year contract extension that will end his hold-in and get him in uniform for the regular-season opener vs. the Giants, sources told Adam Schefter.

NEW: Pierce County’s annual survey of those experiencing homelessness counted an 11% increase over the previous year. The Point-In-Time count is a one-night survey of everyone in the county living in shelters or outdoors. The number counted has more than doubled since 2015, showing a 130% increase.

Scott Carlon lived in a historic bungalow just outside of Malden. Carlon is still there, tbut he house no longer is: His home & 80% of the Eastern WA town was destroyed in a 2020 wildfire.
