Seattle weather is different. 25% chance of showers here means expect 6 hours of rain in the next 24. Most places it's 1 in 4 chance of raining at all & in many places 6 hours of rain causes floods.
Here it's just Winter, early Spring, Fall, or Summer when we get a wet stretch, as far as that goes.
