Meanwhile Britain's Labour government that made murmurs of opposition to the previous Tory government's attempt to curtail civil liberties, remains shamefully silent or worse. The protest will assemble in Whitehall at noon tomorrow - it’s right to march must be respected! 9/9

They are prioritising the narrow interests of the Israeli state, presided over by its most far-right government ever, over the interests and welfare of ordinary Jews in Britain, in a period when far right forces are growing globally. They don’t like Jews freely determining their own opinions. 8/9

This week nearly 1,000 Jews, including sone Holocaust survivors and their descendants, have signed a statement condemning attempts to prevent democratic protest on this issue. Jewish bodies that cheer the suppression of protest do not have the interests of the wider Jewish community at heart. 7/9

More than a week ago the police promised to set up a meeting with a delegation of Jews including veterans of those struggles, who have regularly attended the marches, to consider their points of view. That promised meeting has not materialised. 6/9
