It’s called marginal pricing. The price of energy is set every half hour by auction. All suppliers receive the price set by the highest bidder who clears. So if you need 3 elephants of energy and 2 bid 1 elephant each at £40 and a third bids 1 elephant for £80 then all 3 clear and the price is £80.

They also aggressively log you out of the TV app if you use a different device. People have more than one device in 2024 guys, if you must lock it to one at a time fine but don’t make me laboriously type passwords into my tv every time I choose to watch a match on my iPad.
