Decent Sunday walk, however I chose the route poorly. There turned out to be a fun run at the lake park, so the paths were busy.

Harlequins v Bristol Bears. Tonight the rugby world says farewell to a giant. Joe Marler joined Harlequins adult team in 2008 aged 18, and never played domestic rugby for anyone else. He has been an ambassador for men's mental health. Joe, I salute you, and God damn you will be missed.

Thank you #BBCSounds for the trailer for Giovanni's Room. Thoroughly enjoyed listening to it this morning. I'd forgotten how moody and atmospheric it was. Took me right back to the first time I read it when I was 18 or 19.

And more good news, Declan Geiran and Liam Riley have both been sentenced for their parts in the Liverpool rioting - including (for the latter) the racially aggravated part.
Maybe now it's time to look at the high sentences for the non-violent, non-racist #StopOil protesters.

6 episodes of the final season of #Manifest to go. I've drifted from enjoyment to disappointment, to disinterest, and finally to dislike. It would be a pity to "admit defeat" now and stop watching, but by God I hope it goes somewhere.
