Hype man for the Centrist Movement in Utah. Vice Chair, Utah Forward Party.
Left vs Right dualism has failed to make real progress on inequality, immigration, or equality. Reform can open the door for progress on all three. And my experience on the ground is that most members care deeply about these issues.

That's not how it is in practice. On the ground, we're unified around the recognition that the system has to change for us to see better results.

"Another Love" by Tom Odell was such a part of the Iran womens rights protests and solidarity with Ukraine that it's almost hard to imagine those movements without it.

I mean, seriously - a movement is built on more than just ideas and volunteers. We need shared music and other experiences to help us be a cohesive community that people want to join. This stuff is important!

In Utah where I am and a lot of red states, FWD candidates can challenge the GOP in races where a Dem wouldn't stand a chance. We're all in it together to break entrenched power in single-party states.

I actually LOVE this idea. It says a lot about where he is intellectually, but we *need* a commander-in-chief who knows what the heck is going on. If this helps him make fewer naive mistakes on the world stage, then I'm all for it.

Not caucusing with either. Doesn't really matter either way, since Republicans have a supermajority.

Heck, yeah. We're operating everywhere. Just because we're not spoiling presidential races doesn't mean we're not out there supporting candidates and giving people moderate options in races one big party or the other has abandoned due to gerrymandering.

"Remember" the Forward Party? The Forward Party is growing strong. We have a sitting state senator in Utah! We just don't get as much coverage because we're starting local instead of making an ass of ourselves spoiling national races.
