MAGA Repubs tried doubling down on anti-DEI rhetoric by demonizing trans kids. Voters knew Repubs had nothing else to talk about thus resorted to hate and fear tactics. It didn't work. Repubs didn't make immigration an issue because everyone is horrified by Trump's thugs disappearing citizens.
