The UCP has a real problem saying what they mean. Now the legislation that they enacted isn’t being used correctly. They really need to get someone to check the logic of what they write.

Rachel, do you know if our charter right of free expression applies in any way to a non-Canadian? It seems like some people are suggesting our charter applies. While it might be respectful to offer “our” rights to visitors, I question if there’s any obligation.

It’s interesting that the UCP are considerably closer to AHS than is normally the case and they still don’t (supposedly) know what’s going on and have to back track.

Fortunately, PP going first didn’t matter. Carney gave a master class on prime ministerial leadership.

Do the American people not understand when Trump starts screwing with the legal system he is not planning to ever leave the presidency? He couldn’t with all those he has treated illegally. The people would want to get even. The longer he stays, the worse it will get.

Not only should politicians have obligations/responsibilities tied to their profession, but they should be held to a much higher standard. They are supposed to be our leaders, after all.

Regardless of where one stands on the question of the Prime Minister stepping aside, what a classy letter. This reflects what I believe Canada is. Speak up and state your case, but with respect and civility. What a class act!

While our health care is under resourced, Premier Smith is patrolling the south Alberta border. It’s all about priorities.

The number of people that are adequately trained to safely use firearms to protect their families is a fraction of those that think they should be able to. The term “friendly fire” comes to mind.

There have to be chemtrails involved somehow.

In the most difficult situations in life we are sometimes lucky enough to see love stronger than we could ever imagine. Most of us may see this a few times in our life, if we’re lucky, with close family. Yet these stories reflect the essence of life. There are so many learnings. Thk you for sharing.

I’ve got an idea. If you don’t like the title, don’t read the book. Also, if you don’t like the title, you can pretend you don’t poop, but you do (or should I say doo)!

I wonder if the UCP realize most of us exist as a result of sex. (I went with “most” to leave a little flexibility for the occasional immaculate conception.) Doesn’t that make it difficult to pretend sex isn’t “a thing”?

When things keep failing over and over, one has to start looking at what’s closest to the problems. The mirror may be one place to look. Excuses are wearing very thin.

Can convicted felons from other countries even enter Canada?

The premier is the leader of the Province. When she aligns herself with critics of AHS she is shirking her accountability. She comes across as having all the answers, but blames everyone but herself when she doesn’t get results. She makes a lot of excuses for being ultimately accountable.

Why is the premier making potential deficits sound like a major crisis? The rise and fall of energy prices in AB is about as predictable as it gets. Effective financial management means planning for potential drops of energy prices. That also means not wasting funds when energy prices are higher.

Even if the government sincerely tried to fix the underlying health care problems, they believe they know better than the experts, so they will fail. Until they learn to listen before they speak, and work together with experts, to develop some synergy, true improvement is unlikely.

One key component of leadership is influence. The minister indicated he fired the board because he could not get the board (with some UCP appointees) to follow his direction. He admitted he is incapable of leading. How many boards will have to be fired because the minister can’t do the job?

It’s good we have a few Mounties left in Alberta. This kind of info would get buried where FOIP would never find it if we had a full-fledged Dani’s Provincial Police Force.

The same government that just crashed and burned the YYC Green Line is promoting cutting red tape for homebuilders? Once those homes are all filled up there will be inadequate transit. You can’t make this stuff up!
