Our hunter, sadly gone now, used to leave "something wet" (to quote the Tooth Fairy) on the landing in exactly the right place to be trodden on in the middle of the night when going from bed to toilet.

I live in the UK, but I saw Starship Troopers while visiting the US in the late 90s. I was already familiar with US audiences' habit of vocally participating in the action but their reaction clearly indicated that Verhoeven's message had gone over their heads. Mind you, I was in Florida.

Sort of the same, Model B with cassette drive eventually replaced with ADFS and a single floppy drive. Stuck with Acorn and bought an Archie later. Still have both machines.
