Shortly after Patty Penzey Erd sold Spice House to Grossman and Yates, the quality and selection - especially of the base, plain, herbs and spices - diminished significantly.
Now, Spice House can be found in Kroger and Costco.
This does not bode well.

It's okay, but not much more than that.
I used it on pork chops last fall, and it gave a decent enough flavor. Think German potato salad, sans vinegar.
They went heavy-handed with the rosemary and sage. It's really heavy with the rosemary.
It's salt-free, so that's a plus.

When you eviscerate the FLRA, you can do that sort of thing.
