In my mid 30s I burnt out. What followed was a 10 year period where I rarely played. No lyrics, no music - nada! I was still a musician, an artist - albeit a suppressed one. My voice was stilled for a time, but it broke through louder and stronger than ever. Output is the proof, not the truth.
