By the time they get to 16-u, the ice times get super late at night. I preferred the 6:00 am start times from 8-u over now getting back from a practice after 10:00 pm and after a weekend game close to midnight.

I had no idea about this group. After reading this article, I encouraged my son, a trumpet player, to sign up, and he started practicing taps right away.

Just got one a week ago: brand new EV for around $25k after the tax incentive and discounts. An incredible value.

people who drive everywhere and live sedentary lifestyles go to rome and walk everywhere for a week, lose weight, and declare that it is because the food contains fewer “poisons” or some nonsense bsky.app/profile/most...
The number of Americans who believe our food is less safe or healthy than the same items in Europe is wild to me.

Too funny! I remember watching this movie as a kid 30 years ago and hadn’t thought about it since, yet this post made total sense. Some images have a lasting impact I suppose.

Looked like Kincaid slipped on the second down pass. That was bad.

Why? At least this member of Bills Mafia thinks it is a reasonable take.

I thought it was OPI seeing it live. This clip makes it look worse, but I’m not sure if there was more contact before this that could have been attributed to Tre White. I think the Bills got lucky (which I am happy about).

Opening day is the best. Everyone has hope. Stress is low. I just wish opening day was Labor Day weekend

I have no source on this, but I’d also bet that at current prices, the grocery stores make more money on the processed food than they do on the fresh stuff. I could be wrong, but I doubt grocery stores are price-gouging on vegetables.

I too would like fresh fruits and vegetables to cost less, but it makes sense why they are more expensive than the processed foods because of limited shelf life and transportation. It costs a lot less to produce, ship, and sell before spoilage a bag of Doritos than it does a bunch of broccoli

Replace spectacular in the headline with lucky to stay on brand.

You are very good at keeping my optimism for the Bills in check. Alway the gloomy negative spin on what is happening, but also almost always accurate.

Blocked even through the PBS app?

Looks like a good one. I just finished America and the Holocaust, so I think I’ll watch this one tonight as well.

Civ VI is great on Switch. Perfect for multitasking when watching football games when I don’t have a rooting interest in.

Start with creating safe bike routes to schools. That is something a lot of people would get behind. After that succeeds, start creating thorough and connected bike networks.

The suburbs could become quite bike friendly given how those wide arterials can easily accommodate protected bike lanes, and it should be possible to connect all those cul-de-sac neighborhoods together with some walking/bike paths. Lots of NIMBY resistance to overcome, however on the path issue.

Agreed. Milano doesn’t seem to be himself yet. But holding the Rams to a field goal there after they were first and goal stopped the bleeding a bit.

I found your post helpful, as I’m not really tuned in to what specifically is going on over there.
