Installation at Fort Nelson, Portsmouth of 1525 life size silhouettes created by the charity Standing with Giants. Each figure represents a life lost in just the British and Commonwealth sectors on D-Day, including French Resistance fighters. It was a profound and moving experience to see it.

Saw Public Service Broadcasting play at the Barbican Centre in London on Saturday. Fabulous to hear so many songs from their now extensive catalogue. ‘The Other Side’, about Apollo 8’s first orbit of the Moon, had me in tears. Pretty good going for a rock concert!
