Oh no... statistical error....just for this period...bond yield going up ...wait till those numbers embed in borrowing numbers.
It's not borrowing anyway...but that's a different story

So she posts on social media...someone sat in their front room decides it's a massive call to arms by somebody's missus! Really???
August 21, 2025 at 7:43 AM
Mmm...some mental gymnastics taking place there...
August 21, 2025 at 7:41 AM
Must admit that's my thinking...not sure why anyone wouldn't know total "interest" payable...the costs were always there...or am I missing something. Never had car finance so I haven't got personal experience in all fairness

Not the reason at all. It's the juxtaposition of this working mans plight against free accommodation and food for illegal migrants. Surely there is space for this man in a hotel?

What is it with social media that people think it's ok to just insult. Only been on it about 8 weeks and no one can answer without adding a little insult

What's that got to do with mental health and NHS?

But why does house cost 10x income? (Only in some areas though. Where I live it's 6 times).
Again in 70's we had to find 10% deposit and only allowed 3x salary. So to a large degree house prices were led by affordability and strict lending rules.
If no one can pay 300k then it won't sell!
May 28, 2025 at 11:59 AM
Nothing new. Back in late 70's with wife and 2 children, I like many others had two jobs and still didn't earn enough to cover bills. It will pass...don't make out this is a new phenomena that your data has unearthed!!

I think you're trying very hard to be offended.
May 12, 2025 at 5:42 PM
It probably is the right decision. Don't disagree. My point is that politically it was an expensive move by labour.
May 4, 2025 at 1:19 PM
If I hear 'after 14 years of Tory rule' just one more time!!! You are in power. Own it.
While I'm here...why scrap winter fuel payment. Personally as a 70 year old it doesn't matter to me. But it's a battle you didn't need to fight for such a small fiscal gain at great political cost
