She is when she wants to be - there is always a hierarchy amongst the cubs (and in general). Last year's dog fox cub started out at No. 3 - then he outgrew his sisters and turned the tables on them. He is now an absolutely splendid animal, and amazingly tolerated by his dad with no conflict at all.

Always a thrill to see this bird return. It didn't manage to grow any head-plumes last year, so possibly too old to be able to do so now. No. 7 is back for a 6th year, the fourth as the dominant bird, No. 11 may have been seen but I need a better look, and a new bird (No. 13) has also visited.
