Expired stalk of a mojave yucca in joshua tree. Trying to go on hikes and walks when the sun is low in the morning or evening, really gives a beautiful depth to what you may see. #joshuatree #plants #succulents #photography

I was in joshua tree yesterday and I was hoping to see quail, which i consider God's greatest creation, but instead i came across these chukars which have similar habits of being extremely skiddish and wobble off while chirping a ridiculous chirp, and being very plump with a robbers eye mask. #birds

Happy 12th birthday to our goblin pug, forever grateful my fiance spotted him at the north LA shelter. He's always been full of love and cuddles, and the best symbol of perserverance as he'll never pass up an opportunity for dropped food wherever someone may be handling food. #dogs #pugs #pets

Just a shot from my cellphone, but I was very excited for my first time seeing a bald eagle in the wild today while visiting family in Idaho. Hoping the weather clears up so I can shoot at a fast shutter speed and capture them in flight before we head back to SoCal! #birds

This is the photo that got me to really love bird photography.I was sitting at the beach after walking through a garden which is why i had my 105mm lens. A ton of seagulls were circling around so I snapped away. Really satisfying to capture them when all the elements line up for a millisecond #birds

Haha yes its real and definitely a lot of dedicated gardeners maintain it all! It's the Huntington gardens outside of Los Angeles. So far it's the most impressive desert garden I've been to in the USA. All the blue agave are behind the large golden barrels at the end of the path in this photo.
