I definitely use the auto focus on mine all the time except for something like this where I have the camera on a tripod and I have the time to do like 3 or 4 test photos to dial it in. Trying to do manual focus on the fly has never resulted in good photos for me, I’m just not fast enough

I got some good ones last night but I had to go into full manual mode, widest aperture, like 30 second exposure time to get this

They could introduce their own external GPU enclosure to go along with it so you could either boost the performance currently or just for the sake of extending the lifespan long term too. Not saying they will, but even support for that could allow upgradeability that consoles don’t have

Yeah Cyberpunk does seem like it could be hard for a kid to ignore. During the daytime it’s not crazy but at night and interior spaces there is a lot of neon and stuff that would probably trigger those dopamine receptors

I’m not saying porn shouldn’t exist, for the record, just that to write off people struggling with it as a personal issue feels wrong to me. Like surely, like nearly all issues, there is a deeper rooted societal problem that drives that compulsion

My question is how is it different than a gambling addiction? It’s true that a ton of it is religious shame, but I think to say “it’s not a real problem, actually” reads a lot like “the economy is fine, idiot, ignore your lived experience and look at this graph”

The US auto industry hamstrung themselves because they relied on regulatory capture to avoid competition rather than try to make a better car. Every time they say “x segment doesn’t sell so we’re not making it” what they’re saying is “we sold an also-ran for 30 years and nobody wanted it so eh”
