Riding a bicycle is pretty great any time. Catching an early train back Toronto to ride and meet up with buddies at the weekly coffee spot on the North shore of Lake Ontario is even more great.

Look for them year round Friday mornings at Toronto’s West Humber Park.

In our old condo the bike’s lived on the balcony or several floors underground in a storage locker. We’ve just moved condos and here they’ve a semi private locked room on the main floor and close to an exit. Next door is a pet bathing room right sized for giving a bike a wash.

I called 311 yesterday. Walked by the same spot today as the newest snow was taking hold. Yay! The city did give a try at cleaning it up.

Not going to be setting any speed records riding on it but it’s manageable.

There’s lots of snow expected this weekend and Toronto bike lane snow removal from the last storm is very very incomplete.

Bloor St W just west of High Park.

Autumn at Tommy Thompson park, Toronto. So many cyclists enjoying the park. Worth noting that without biking infrastructure to get us there there’d be a lot fewer people able to enjoy it.
