First paid commercial memory. I once pitched a room full of execs at Schlitz headquarters in Chicago, unsolicited mind you, a commercial I created with friends entirely shot in a Northside bar I worked at. Were they confused with the concept? Sure were. Paid up tho- 2 cases! “Go for the gusto!”
