Got my Covid booster yesterday, the nurse talked about the vaccine timeline, how "scientists" start working on the next strain early next year. "Which scientists?" I asked. She knows how that *used* to work, in normal times, but not now. Any insights?

It'll be interesting to see by how much that reduces the number of Republicans.
