If you can say ‘find the most powerful quote exemplifying x theme’ it’ll do well, I’d think — but it’s probably less adept at the instinctive skill of noticing what a given piece is missing.

I often plug interview transcripts into Gemini after I’ve written something, to compare - and while I wouldn’t trust it to write anything from scratch, with the right prompt it’s annoyingly good at finding the powerful quotes.

Depressing stuff! I suppose it’s maybe predictable that as decreased socialising/socialisation makes us less human, we also end up producing fewer humans.
