Yep, sadly. They are pussies. Battlefield is no longer the FPS game that pushes the boundaries of visual fidelity.

I would be completely OK playing the multiplayer of BF5 with RT at 90 fps rather than at 120 fps without it

Modern GPUs can provide you with a high framerate experience with heavy RT implementations but ok.

Also I don't really care what "most people" with their garbage RTX 3060 laptop like GPUs want or not. DICE used to be the pioneer of cutting edge graphics not that long ago...

We're talking about a triple A game with a gigantic budget. Are you really trying to convince me, implementing some form of scalable RTGI or ray-traced reflections would be that hard for them?

Oh god forbid people would have the option to turn on RTGI with RT reflections. You know, not everyone wants to play the game on sweatlord all-low settings just to have 200 FPS.

Again your usual pathetic take...how bad it would be if devs just gave THE OPTION to turn on RTGI for people who want it while retaining their raster techniques as they are? This game looks incredibly mid compared to something like The Finals just because its garbage looking lightning...
