I am using a star tracker so that the camera/mount moves with the stars. Without a tracker and at 500mm I would be limited to about 1 second exposures.

In the Boulder labs we also had graphic artists (Jim ?). I still have some of the great art work he did for me. Back then we actually had a budget for that kind of work.

Thank you. It's a great sight in binoculars but even a short camera/phone exposure will reveal a lot of detail.
