I think you're mostly right, from my own perspective as well. Only one movie stood out that year for me. It was IMMORTALS with Henry Cavill and Freida Pinto. Two years later Cavill played Superman in THE MAN OF STEEL with Amy Adams. And later still, THE MAN FROM U.N.C.L.E., with Alicia Vikander.

Oh man, you would truly miss out on movies like SIGNS or THE SIXTH SENSE. When that lightbulb moment hit is my favorite part.

I would still like to have his money though. Chevy is worth over 50 mil today. Staring into a camera with a dumbfounded look on your face can be quite lucrative I guess.

Everyone remembers, "Heyyy You Guyyyys", but what about Ke Huy Quan's character saying he was setting "Booty Twaaps". That was so funny! Congratulations to Ke Huy Quan for his recent Oscar for his role in Everything Everywhere All At Once.

I don't know why this movie was never that popular. I must have watched it 2 dozen times now. It's cute, funny, sexy, thought provoking, and has one of the best action packed edge-of-your-seat chase scenes ever. THE ISLAND with Ewan McGregor and Scarlett Johansson is one of my all-time favorites.
