Great to be at St Luke’s Community Centre in Islington today, a registered @warmwelcomeuk.bsky.social Space, for a National Lottery and Sustain event on helping groups move from food poverty to food security!

This is hugely worrying, and points strongly to the need for more co-ordination between national & local government, faith and civil society groups and of course housing providers.

Celebrating my foster daughter’s 18th bday today. Seems like yesterday she arrived aged 13. Think we were all equally terrified at 1st but can’t say how glad I am to have her in my life. Fostering is a rollercoaster for sure but also a unique opportunity to expand your family, your mind & your heart
