The D.C. City Council, in an 11-2 vote, gives second and final approval for a $3.8B project, including a 65,000-seat stadium on the old RFK Stadium site by 2030, along with a massive mixed-use development of the surrounding area. The Commanders are, officially, returning to D.C.

Former defensive end Charles Mann, before the final D.C. City Council vote on the Commanders’ stadium proposal at the RFK site. Mann owns a company that is doing work at the renovation of Capital One Arena, and hopes his company will be among those working on the RFK project.
