Painting can be an odd thing. Solitary and introspective one minute and the next, blowing a trumpet as you wheel out the latest daub. Social media, for me at least, feels a slightly awkward no man's land between the two. 🎺 Col du Sabot, oil, 41x33cm #oilpainting #alps #pleinair

From last year. Oil on canvas 30x40cm. The frame was made from some very old reclaimed stair treads with the original rather fine and worn green paint. They seemed to go together in a rustic beige sort of way.
