I like how they also didn't change the name when it's a medicine. Digitalis was the flower name first! Same with Atropine! Pilocarpine, too. The taxols in chemo are also named after the plant. It's sort of mind-blowing how plants are impossibly sophisticated organic chemical synthesis labs.

I grew up on Lawrence Welk. Still watch reruns with my dad every Saturday if I'm back home.

Pretty much. Trump is a less classy Golgothan.

Omg. Incredible. That is so profoundly cringe.

It blows my mind that even two or three people of the many who are probably involved with the administration can go through the motions of such foolishness.

This would be accurate if it flushed backwards, as in, behaved as a geyser of poop.
April 20, 2025 at 4:06 AM
Ugh. I hate how right you are.

It's more of a 1 year down the road kind of thing, I think. Was it the cybertrucks that are having the glue issue?

Love how she leans into what a felon Trump is. 67% you say? Wow!

They were truly incredible.

I believe it was later called "The Cultural Revolution" in the 90s, and I took it too! He's still around! The other legend who co-taught the course is no longer with us.

Quite remarkably, the similarities between Mao's and Trump's political methods would have about 0% change of sinking in now.

Honestly, it's too perfectly ironic. She might as well have said "yeah, Nancy Pelocy assaulted a 13 year old, sent large businesses into bankrupcy, uses way too much orange foundation, and can't say the word "Chiyna" without losing lower lip tone." It's so exact, it must be conscious at some level.

Jesse's face is so exquisitely insufferable. Also, I feel like her rant is almost too tuned to perfect irony. "The proof is in the pudding" on the day with this market performance? Also, noticed the silent assumption about Stacey Abrams being bad. What in particular about her spells bad leadership?
March 11, 2025 at 1:56 AM
It is truly mind shredding how stupid this is. It's just a list of words that trigger the worst snowflakes imaginable.
March 11, 2025 at 12:41 AM
Yeah, maybe everything is disintegrating, but they're owning the libs so hard. Alpha as f. So redpilled.
March 11, 2025 at 12:38 AM
Uhdoo ya THINK? WOODJA be so kind?
March 11, 2025 at 12:32 AM
Also, didn't know you were a Dr. Cox fan!
March 10, 2025 at 6:57 PM
I know that Trump is the boss villain, but there's something about Vance that is so deeply and exquisitely insufferable in this. Just how hard he leans into be as much of an absolute wad of steaming feces....

Some of us are good, I assume. But we're not sending out best. We're murderers, we're rapists. We're eating the cats, we're eating the dogs.
March 10, 2025 at 6:16 PM
The faces of JD and Mike Johnson are exquisitely insufferable.
March 5, 2025 at 4:50 AM
Stumpy McStumpington. Seriously, those are some short little mini gherkins.
February 25, 2025 at 7:02 AM
So yeah, I'm uh.... not going to describe how relieved this makes me. D S Dubs for life.
February 18, 2025 at 2:19 AM
This is chef's kiss perfect ironic (or rather, symbolic, I suppose).
February 18, 2025 at 2:17 AM
I agree. And indeed it is worse.

It's interesting, sometimes I think about the evil afoot these days in those terms, sort of like a D&D monster manual. Evil/animal intelligence (Trump), evil/semi-intelligent (Shapiro & Tucker), evil/opportunist (Ted Cruz), evil/true believer (Steve Bannon).

I stand with this and all, of course, but I also wanted to shout out the drunk guy at 0'34" who nails the V4-3 suspended upper voice.

It's low down on my list of what's horrible, but I have spent at least 1 second realizing that we now live in The United States of Microscopic Penises. (That's official, by the way.)
