I see your point, but I don't get the "driving test" bit of the analogy. Maybe for students it is valid. Surely for writers the analogy would be "Calling yourself a writer because you can use Generative AI is like calling yourself a driver because you can book a Waymo".

Llama 4 does seem to be a fundamentally dumb and ignorant model. Probably an inevitable consequence of gaslighting it in training with some of the garbage the right is peddling.

I think you will find that there are a large number of people who would constitute the Democrat base even in red states. Not a majority, but the Democrat vote was over 1/3 in all but 4 states.

It is a pity the judge didn't include analysis and derivative works in the things to be destroyed. They could easily have extracted the details they need by now so they don't need the copies anymore.
