Yes, it is. Many male birds dance for their partners ...NOT the other way around. I was in South Africa recently with my wife and we spotted some male and female ostriches together and one male had spread his wings and was swaying hypnotically in the wind. Fascinating behaviour!

Our ginger female cat Simba. We thought she was a male when we picked her up as a tiny kitten in a ditch at the side of the road in Huron County Ontario. Nope, she's a female who is smart and she already knew her name so we kept it.
