Standard home outlets in the US are 120V and 15 or 20 A. For a 75ft outdoor run a 12ga extension cord is fine, though upgrading to a 10ga wouldn't hurt either. 14ga is probably technically okay if the outlet is 15 A, but bigger is definitely better.
