My colleague @mattgrantkxan.bsky.social and I have investigated the TX Crime Victims' Compensation Fund for 2 years. We discovered flawed performance reports to the Legislature making it appear victims were paid much faster than reality. Over the weekend, a fix became law - tinyurl.com/yn7y3dtt
