Housing allowances are location+rank based, as well as tax free. Soooo, this will 1) reduce the amount of housing allowance supplemental available for those who need it, and 2) increase the tax burden because this payment is taxable while housing allowances are not.

Wish I could watch the Indy broadcast. Had to buy the Knicks game because I live in their market. These announcers on Gotham are the worst. Low energy. I miss Quinn

Walked out of Target and got into SUV with my sister. Looked down and saw a McDonald’s Coke and things I didn’t recognize. We realized somebody parked the same car next to us and left their doors unlocked. We had a good laugh.

That is a fun one too. We loved eating Kaiserschmarrn, but it is very hard to find in restaurants (takes long to cook). Out of the various markets, the one at MUC was unique because it had the dish and you could eat it fresh out of the pan. Regardless, enjoy the season!!

Even if we filled up on the good Thai food around the corner, we would still grab a wurst sandwich for the novelty of getting a good German wurst. We truly miss our time there. It was special

If they still do the Christmas Market at the MUC airport, the "Kaiserschmarrn" dessert/meal was awesome. It's like a cut up pancake. You pay a small price to walk around with the meal freshly made in a cast iron skillet. Then return the skillet for your deposit.

We loved that town. Bavaria was the best time in the Army. My son was born in Regensburg.

I saw one with a bicycle in the back. The owner couldn't stand the bike upright because it was longer than the bed. The front tire was "outside" the truck, on the other side of the bed gate.

It's been 11 years since we lived there, but the Doner Kebab truck in the Rewe parking lot was the best. The Vietnamese-German (Zum Goldenen Kreuz) restaurant was always excellent too. The quick lunches from the deli in Hecht's Metzgeri in Lupberg were great-my parents still talk about that place

Mis-directed priorities. National TV rights, Conference $$, sponsors, boosters, etc. all bring revenue that the "educational" part of the university can't. I managed sports facilities at an Ivy League school and often commented we could have nicer venues if the school belonged to the SEC or Big 12
