Here's every album I've spent a fair amount of time with this year in some order of how much I enjoyed it / how innovative I thought it was / vibes. I tinker with this constantly and have a tab in an excel doc for every year going back to the 50s, which I've been told is very neurotypical actually

Party Album by Famous is shaping up to be my AOTY. One of the most inspired post punk albums I've heard in years.

I love the genre dearly but it takes a lot for something to stand out these days by shear volume of my consumption. Every year or two I get a Protomartyr or something that cuts thru.
